Fees and Payouts
Last updated: October 21, 2026 ยท All fees shown before applicable tax
Buying
- Endo service fee: on new sales, buyers pay 3% of the item price. There is no fixed per-order service fee. It is Endo's fee for running the marketplace, escrow and buyer protection. Shipping is charged separately and the full total is shown before payment.
- Shipping: one amount on every shipped order, which includes half the postage at the carrier's rate for your address, calculated from the item's dimensions and weight, plus $1 of a $2 handling charge Endo keeps; the label is auto-generated. The seller pays the other half of the postage and the other $1 out of their payout; if the payout cannot cover their half, your shipping covers the rest. On a free-shipping listing the seller covers all of the postage and the full $2. Nothing on local pickup.
- Tax: any sales tax or Australian GST Endo collects is shown at checkout before you pay. Australian imports over AUD 1,000, and other goods assessed at the border, may have additional tax, duty or brokerage collected by customs or the carrier.
Selling
- Seller fee: on new sales, 3% of the item price is deducted from the payout. Listing is free. Shipping deductions are separate: half the postage and $1 of handling on a split-shipping order, or the label and the full $2 handling charge on a free-shipping order. Previously quoted offers and existing orders keep their original fee terms.
- Free shipping: your choice per listing. The shipping label and a $2 handling charge come out of your payout.
- Payouts: standard payout (1-2 business days) is free. Instant payout carries a fee set by our payment processor; the exact amount is shown before you cash out.
- Boosts: optional listing promotion, priced at purchase. Boosts an Endo admin gives you as a gift expire 30 days after they are given, and the date shows with your boosts. Boosts you buy and boosts you earn by inviting riders never expire.
Tax documents
Sellers who meet IRS thresholds receive a 1099-K from our payment processor. Keep your tax info current in your payout settings.
The example everyone asks for
$500 part, shipped: the buyer pays $500 + a $15 buyer service fee + shipping + tax. The seller's $15 selling fee comes out of the payout. With $20 of postage, split shipping adds $11 to the buyer's total (half the postage plus $1 handling), and the seller receives $474 ($500 minus the $15 selling fee, $10 postage and $1 handling). Before tax, the buyer pays $526. With free shipping, the seller receives $463 after the $15 selling fee, $20 label and $2 handling charge. Local pickup has no shipping or handling charge: the buyer pays $515 before tax and the seller receives $485.
